Tamworth 19/5/12: A great night of racing to finish the Pointscore series, no dramas followed by a great BBQ and presentation. Luca went into the Feature on top points tied with Jaimie McKinlay and drew the outside rear position. Luca made a great start to disappear into the distance before the caution lights came on for the first of three times due to drivers getting caught up with the infield tyre barriers. Making a mistake in the last laps falling back to third. Scoring enough points to finish third in the series, third on the night and third in the F500 Club overall pointscore for the year. Brian had a consistant night and finished 5th in the series.
Nowra 12/5/12: Well we thought we were going to a big Speedway Meeting, yeah right! Nothing short of a fiasco, so we will never go back to that track. Luca finished the Feature in 2nd and tied for 2nd on points with Newcastle's Matt Hunter. Going into this weekend's Final at Tamworth Luca is in 3rd place in the series just one point ahead of defending Champ, Michael Baxter. Brian had a very consistent night scoring good points and is a comfortable 5th on points.
Gunnedah 14/4/12: Luca finished 3rd in the final and 2nd on points, Brian had a DNF in the final after his motor shut down mid race and was 6th on points.
Australian Title Laang Vic: Luca struggled with car setup on night 1, in the final heat race of the weekend we finally showed some great car speed, unfortunately on the final corner of the last lap while running 2nd Luca hooked a rut and ended up making contact with the wall.
NSW Title Tamworth: Luca finished in 5th place after a win in heat 1, Brian finished in 11th place.
Gunnedah 14/1/12.
Finally we had our 3 cars entered for this meeting. Well,what a night, in the
Cars ready for Heat 1 and Mother Nature starts to bear her teeth. The
cars were nearly being blown over on the dummy grid. Turn 4 the first
time would see 4 cars in a pile-up, not good as 2 of them were ours (51 & 52).
After the restart Luca finished in 3rd and Brian in 4th. Nathan in the
#52 failed to finish due to a fuel problem. The meeting was then rained
out with a storm.
7/1/12 Tamworth. What a Night at Tamworth. Wall to wall people, never seen that many people at a Speedway Event. Luca cleaned up in the 51 Car. #50 struggled all night with a silly yet unfindable fault.
31/12/11 Toowoomba. A great night was had by all Drivers that attended and saw out the old year. Winner on the night was Wayne Wallace ahead of Luca in 2nd and Brian in 3rd. |  |
17/12/11 Rd 1 NSW Series, Gilgandra. After a frustrating round of heats with silly things going wrong, the #50 and #51 cars found themselves on the front row for the Feature Race. At the green Brian grabbed the advantage from the outside and with Luca hot on his heals, the boys got a small but handy lead on the rest of the field. Lap 4 would see Luca spin while trying the inside line to pass Brian and was sent to the rear for the restart. Brian once again got the jump on the field and set off with another small break. Luca had made his way quickly back up to 4th, but by then Brian's right rear was shot and was falling back through the field. Luca ran out of laps and finished in third.
19/11/11 N.S.W. Title Lismore. Well the track is the same as it was last time, not good for our small cars. Luca got his night off to a good start recording the 4th fastest lap of the night, not bad for our spare stock motor. Then the track really reared is ugly rutt infested head. Luca qualified 6th for the feature and Brian tied for 9th but drew 11th from the hat. Luca had clutch problems after about 6 laps and a heap of restarts and finished on the infield, Brian just kept going around and dodged the rutts to finish a very disappointing 10th.
7/11/11 Workshop Tamworth Fitted spare motor to Luca's 51 Car. Never tried this motor, so well see what happens! Dead stock, straight out of the Bike and Ebay U.S.. Practice this Sunday at Tamworth.
29/10/11 Charton Speedway QLD Luca destroyed his motor in the first Heat which totally defeated the purpose of the trip. However, Brian managed to qualify 4th for the feature Race and was more than happy to finish the night in 5th behind some mighty impressive Drivers.
10/8/11 Workshop Tamworth Both cars are in the workshop getting ready for a practice day at Gunnedahs Bluevale Speedway on the 9th Sept and then back to Tamworth on the 10th for a practice day at Oakburn Park.
